Our Story

The KannaKraft Shop is Maine’s first educational CBD Cannabis Shop in the capital of Maine. We are family owned and have been operating here in Augusta since November 2018.

With a passion for the cannabis plant from its medicinal properties to its quality fiber textile. We had the urge to help raise awareness in our community – and with that we’ve grown into The KannaKraft Shop.

We believe in the benefits of this plant and we want to provide guidance on how to introduce cannabis into our lives – from the inside out.

Here at The KK Shop we want to shed light on a plant that has been in the dark for so long, to give new meaning to how cannabis can work in our everyday lives and to bring us, as a community, back to a natural way of healing.

Who We Are

Welcome! My husband and I are working together to provide our community with high quality customer service and products. We have combined our passion for Cannabis and our desire to help, by creating a safe and educational environment for our customers to discover their cannabis wants and needs. Nick is an experienced caregiver, with a long history of helping patients with KannaKraft, LLC. Nick has been studying cannabis for 10+ years. He has a passion for sharing his knowledge about the cannabis plant and its healing abilities with his community. Over the last few years, KannaKraft, LLC. has incorporated the healing benefits of CBD into our products, and services. Nick expanded our community reach by offering full spectrum CBD. The new extension of services and products opened the doors for me (his wife) Erika, to get involved in the family business!

It has been an honor to be Nick’s right hand (wo)man as he grows KannaKraft from the ground up. Owning our own business has allowed me to support my husband from home, while raising our children. My time at home has given me an opportunity to explore and strengthen my artistic abilities. After a short time working alongside my husband, I quickly took to the Cannabis world, immediately realizing where my husband’s passion for the plant came from. I am a firm believer in the plant’s healing abilities, as I have seen the plants benefits firsthand.

Here, at KannaKraft we believe strongly in using every part of the cannabis plant. Our dedication to being resourceful is what intrigued my curiosity about fiber art. I had a feeling other people would find beauty in the cannabis plant, just as Nick and I have, so I started crafting. Now, years later I am a published Fiber Artist, and I sell my unique hemp/cannabis creations in our store and online.

It did not take me long to develop the same passion my husband has for this miraculous plant, and its multi-beneficial properties. Together, my husband and I have incorporated both of our passions to create The KannaKraft Shop.

We not only provide clean, handmade, locally sourced full spectrum CBD products. We offer guidance and a guarantee for an easy transition into the usage and benefits of this versatile plant.

If we are not busy turning this plant into a medicine, we are handcrafting it into art! Creating art from cannabis showcases not only the plant’s beauty and durability, but it also acts as a statement of gratitude. Displaying art made from this often forbidden and under-appreciated plant reminds us to be grateful for how far we have come in ending the stigma that surrounds cannabis. The same art reminds us of the work that still needs to be done to Free the Leaf.
