BC Smoke Shop West

BC smoke shop is family owned and operated, founded by George F. Ankar back in December of 1996. George created and branded BC smoke shop into existence for a full decade. After that first decade, he sold his store to his long time employee/cousin Kristopher Zaybak who continued and expanded BC smoke shop from 2006 to where we are today with two Houston stores. Before social media, it was difficult to find the right kind of glass suited for our shop. Our goal was to expand the popularity of artistic glass pipes made in the USA. We traveled the country with the hopes of connecting with glassblowers making the quality of pipes that met our specifications. We’ve seen the evolution of the smoke shop industry grow from cross country road trips in search of glass, to attending annual trade shows 3 to 4 times a year, displaying glass that truly belongs in museums. We are extremely lucky to be part of this and to share our experiences with everyone.
